MELLOWTONE 15 EXHIBITION AT THE HANDYMAN
Photograph by Ragz Nordset
'Mellowtone 15' is an exhibition of fifteen original screenprints featuring artwork by fifteen different artists, that all originally appeared on Mellowtone posters and flyers.
Launched at the Buyers Club as a part of our 15th Birthday celebrations in 2019, 'Mellowtone 15' should have been on display during this year's Smithdown Road festival back in May, so we're happy that they're now on the walls of the Handyman, Smithdown Road, Liverpool.
All prints are for sale for £15 each, with 50% of all proceeds donated to local charities, including The Florrie, Mandela8, Granby Toxteth Development Trust, The Whitechapel Centre, St Brides Foodbank, and Claire House.
Prints from the exhibiton are also avaiable to view and purchase online here.
The exhibition - and the bar, selling a fine selection of ales and gins - is open at the Handyman Supermarket, 461 Smithdown Road, Liverpool, L15 3JL, on
Wednesday from 4 - 9 pm
Thursday from 5 - 11pm
Friday from 4 - 11pm
Saturday from 3 - 11pm
Sunday from 2 - 9pm

NEW RELEASE FROM RAGZ NORDSET - REMIXES OF "DON'T YOU FORGET'
Photograph by Robin Clewley
Following the release of long time Mellowtone collaborator Ragz Nordset’s single ‘Don’t You Forget’, the latest offering from Mellowtone Records features reimaginations of the captivating track from producers Mario Leal, and Drumwarp & Guevarism.
‘Don’t You Forget’ was released in May 2020, the first recorded music the Norwegian chanteuse had shared in almost five years; a haunting and sparse piano and vocal track, recorded live at Liverpool’s iconic Parr Street Studios.

These brand new remixes take the original on an altogether different journey. With sonic echoes of Ragz’ native Scandinavia; glacial undertones contrast the eclectic productions; exploring and complementing her visceral and emotive vocal.
